Our Parker Stores Offer SafetyWorks Training That Could Help You Avoid Dangerous Situations

Tony Cantone

President, The Hope Group

Safety is essential when dealing with daily work pressures and can sometimes be only thought about after an accident occurs. If you are purchasing a hose or running any fluids under pressure without all the relevant information, or under little regulation, it may result in dangerous consequences. Our ParkerStores are committed to helping you maintain a safer work environment by introducing you to Parker SafetyWorks.

Parker SafetyWorks is a collection of training sessions led by qualified instructors to make you aware of the importance of following hydraulic hose and fluid system operating practices to prevent damage and/or injury. I came across a recent blog post by Parker Hannifin that explains it in detail and the importance of the training. (view blog post)

Some of the topics include:

  • Injection Injury
  • Personal Injury
  • Electricity
  • S.T.A.M.P (Size, Temperature, Application, Media, Pressure)

We recently opened our eighth Parker Store in North Haven, CT. As part of our grand opening we held various seminars which included a well-attended SafetyWorks training session. Two to three times a year certified trainers from Parker Hannifin and The Hope Group will instruct these sessions at our main office in Massachusetts. Every so often, they will be held at our branch locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

If you have any questions about SafetyWorks, hydraulic hose or would like to find out if we have any upcoming training sessions, feel free to contact me at 508-393-7660 or by email. (tcantone@thehopegroup.com).
